Natalie Jayasuriya, an outstanding entrepreneur born and raised in the UK, moved to the sunny shores of Sri Lanka in 2015. Since then, she has established herself as a leading figure in the country’s entertainment sphere, managing some of Sri Lanka’s most iconic bars and restaurants. Natalie always shutters barriers, so as one of the first women to run nightclubs in Sri Lanka, she is paving the way for a new level of inclusivity in this industry.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Natalie immediately saw it as an opportunity to support local fashion businesses and launched FROKME.COM, Sri Lanka’s first multi-vendor platform. The brand’s signature label, FROK, has expanded internationally, successfully retailing in the UK, Malaysia, and India, and is now available online in the UAE region.

Earlier this year, FROKME.COM ventured into the Indian market, and Natalie is now setting her sights on further expansion in the UAE. As the Creative Director and driving force behind the brand, she brings an intereting fusion of her British and Sri Lankan heritage into FROK’s unique, vibrant and brave collections. The brand defies categorization, and designed to express a diversity of personalities and styles, and fit fashion into everyday life.
Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Natalie is a trained ballerina and a hospitality expert with a dynamic presence. Her main focus, however, lies in empowering women and supporting local businesses, making a meaningful impact and unforgettable changes in the lives of those she inspires.
